This summer we are continuing to offer Mixed Age classes for children birth to five and a class for 5 & 6 year olds.  We are also offering an Intergenerational/Mixed Age class for children birth to five.  This class will be held at The Family Lodge in Saugerties.  The Family Lodge is a senior residence and some of the residents will join us weekly for class. Please check the schedule for more information about dates and times.  Parents and/or caregivers attend with their children for all classes.

Our classes are 45-minute and include songs, rhythmic chants, large and small movement and instrument and prop play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for young children and accessible to parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability.

There are 3 full terms per year; fall, winter, spring which run for 10 weeks each. Summer is a shorter term, running 6 weeks.

In general, when local schools are closed due to inclimate weather, our classes will be canceled and made up at the end of the term.

To check for school cancellations you can listen to WDST 100.1 in Woodstock or check the Channel 10 for local listings. You can also call 845-657-2600 where there will be a current recorded message after 7:40 a.m. to let you know whether or not class has been cancelled.
